Create and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistent, quality work being published on a daily basis. Create customized multichannel marketing campaigns for municipal clients and national brands, leveraging our data-driven marketing platform. Oversee the development and execution of all communications for B2B partners, ranging from sales materials to client presentations and quarterly reporting decks. Conceptualize, write and implement copy for all printed marketing materials and the execution of 360 marketing campaigns. Coordinate with art directors, project managers and merchants to develop marketing materials such as catalogs, hangtags, booklets, signage and other materials. Develop and execute consistent brand voice over a variety of printed pieces. Work alongside store managers and customer retention specialists to craft client letters promoting in-store events, store openings, the arrival of new collections and more. Act as a liaison between the print marketing and digital marketing departments by partnering with content managers, web copywriters, art directors and graphic designers. Partner with third-party vendors to create and/or customize the message of a range of marketing materials. 

Copywriter / Macys.com / New York, NY / July 2007- January 2011                                 

Write copy for online marketing and social media pertaining to tailored clothing, casual sportswear, young men’s and men’s shoes divisions. Partner with graphic designers, marketing associates and merchants to develop strategies, content and implementation of digital marketing pieces such as email blasts, landing pages, banner ads, SEO articles, micro-sites and more.  Write product copy for various men’s divisions and oversee the production of product copy for freelance copywriters.  Work with vendors and in-store marketing associates to deliver uniform and brand-right online advertisements and emails. Implement and manage SEO-optimized copy. Overhaul voice and customer targeting based on seasonal objectives and shifts in consumer shopping patterns.

Writing copy for trade and consumer advertising in a variety of print, radio and online media. Responsible for developing both the creative materials and strategic plan for integrated sponsorships.  Work closely with program producers and hosts to create program-specific advertising.  Act as a liaison between programming, research, ad sales and marketing department to match the goals of mainstream and endemic advertisers with all the network’s televised and online properties.
